Reporting to the R&D Laboratory Director, the incumbent is responsible for supporting research and development activities in chemistry applied to textiles and flexible materials. He or she actively participates in experimental work, formulation preparation, and the operation of prototyping equipment, in accordance with work plans established by project managers.
The role is central to prototyping and testing activities, including monitoring results, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with laboratory best practices. The technician also contributes to the coordination of daily work and continuous improvement of methods.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, autonomous, and analytical, with a strong interest in applied R&D and the ability to work in a dynamic, project-based environment. A college diploma in chemistry or a related field is required, along with relevant experience in R&D.

The role involves conducting technical tests on geosynthetic products and flexible materials (hydraulic, mechanical, and durability testing), analyzing and documenting results, and ensuring proper operation of equipment in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
The technician also contributes to the daily operations of the laboratory, including sample preparation, test monitoring, and coordination of priorities when required.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with strong autonomy and the ability to work effectively in a technical team environment. A college diploma in a relevant field is required, along with laboratory experience (training provided if needed).
