Since 2012 the mission of the Industrial Chair on Innovative Technical Textiles (NSERC NEXTEX Chair) is to participate in the development of products and technologies for the textile industry of tomorrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

RESEARCH TO SERVE THE INDUSTRY
\n<\/span><\/strong>Technical textiles represent technologies of the future in several strategic industrial sectors such as transport, defense, health, construction.<\/p>\n

To promote the adoption of these innovative textiles, the C\u00e9gep de Saint-Hyacinthe launched the NEXTEX Chair on March 15, 2012, thanks to the support of several industrial, institutional, and scientific partners.<\/p>\n

The NEXTEX Chair mainly carries out technology watch projects as well as specific projects in collaboration with its partners.<\/p>\n

Whether disseminating new knowledge or developing measurement methods or innovative materials that its industrial partners can use in the development of new products, the NEXTEX Chair is driven by the desire to innovate<\/strong> and find concrete solutions creating higher productivity gains and improved competitiveness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
